Philadelphia Scholastic Chess League:
The Philadelphia Scholastic Chess League (PSCL) is the competitive arm of ASAP Chess with more than 50 teams and 500 youth competing at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. The second largest youth league in the School District of Philadelphia, just behind public league basketball, the PSCL allows students from traditional public and charter schools throughout the city to showcase their skills and represent the collective intellectual prowess of their schools. The League begins each year with interscholastic matches starting in October and concludes with the Chess League finals in February or March.
