ASAP’s mission is to keep Philadelphia’s youth safe and active by facilitating supervised enrichment activities in the dangerous after school hours.

You can help keep kids safe and active after school. A contribution of:
  • $25 will buy a CD player and music for a dance club
  • $50 will provide one chess or scrabble club with materials
  • $100 will purchase yoga mats for one club
  • $250 will enroll one Chess Challenge club in the US Chess Federation ($18/member)
  • $500 will go toward supporting a chess tournament providing sets, medals, and trophies
  • ASAP is affiliated with GPUAC (the Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition), a 501(c)3 organization that serves as our fiscal agent.

    ASAP has been approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development as an educational improvement organization to which businesses may make contributions and be considered for Educational Improvement Tax Credits (EITC). For more information, visit
